"AWANA Theme Song"
AWANA is an exciting school-year program for children ages 3 through Grade 12. It runs September through May and involves each clubber in Bible Study, Bible Memorization, Competitive character-building games and both Church and Community service.
Truth and Training (T and T) - Grades 3-6
Trek - Grades 7 and 8
Journey - Grades 9-12
All clubs, except Journey, meet on Wednesday nights from 6:25 to 8:10 p.m. High Schoolers participating in the Journey course meet on Sunday Evening at 6:00 p.m. They serve as "Leaders in Training" on Wednesday night as helpers in various clubs.
Clubbers purchase the handbooks that outline the course of study for the club year. As they complete sections, they earn award badges and other awards. They also purchase their uniform shirts that identify their club and provide a place to display their award badges.
AWANA is for the whole family. Children are introduced to Christ as Savior and Lord. Young Christians are taught how to grow in Christ and serve Him. Parents can get involved as helpers and workers. What a great way to bring your family together in the Lord and in the Church.
