                                                                                                              "God Showed Us His Love" 

That song, "God Showed Us His Love", says it all.  We have nothing in ourselves about which to boast.  It is only that God loved us enough that He showed us His love, even though we are all sinners!  "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us"  - Romans 5:8.  That's why we are here and that's the message we want to share with you.

On behalf of the Cornerstone Church family, let me extend a heart-felt invitation to visit services at Cornerstone Bible Church. It is our desire to be a help and encouragement to each and every person who walks through our door. We believe the Lord has given us an important role to play in the Capitol Heights community. With growth of the city eastward, many churches have followed the trend, leaving some of the older areas of Montgomery without a true "community church." It is our desire to be a church IN the community ministering TO the community. Each visitor we have is special to us and will receive a warm family welcome!

We are committed to providing:

• A strong, Bible-centered ministry. We believe in verse-by-verse, expositional teaching of the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God. Every service revolves around a time of in-depth teaching and preaching of the scriptures.
• An evangelical outreach in obedience to the "Great Commission." Whether it is Sunday School, a worship service, or a special outreach, the Gospel is given and an opportunity to respond is offered.
• The family as God's first and primary ordained institution. We provide opportunities for parents and children TOGETHER to be involved. As Pastor, I make a special emphasis in every message on the family and how it can survive in today's culture, if the design and principles given in the Word of God are followed. My goal is to ENCOURAGE parents and children alike to love one another and live for Christ.
• Worship and music that honors God in an atmosphere of reverence, but at the same time expressing the joy of the Lord. We offer a blend of traditional hymns and Gospel music along with contemporary music that is appropriate and expresses the truths taught in God's Word. We have talented vocalists and instrumentalists that are featured in each service. They view their part in the service as a special ministry for which God has equipped and called them.
